The Saudi Association for Energy Economics (SAEE) is delighted to invite you to its first dinner meeting in 2012. This dinner will mark the launch of a series of events and activities that are planned for the new term. On this occasion, we have two distinguished speakers who will be presenting:

Raad Alkadiri
Partner, Markets & Country StrategiesRaad Alkadiri is a Partner in the Markets & Country Strategies group.  A country risk specialist, Raad leads a team that focuses on the political, economic and sectoral factors that influence decision-making in oil and gas producing states, including the Middle East and Africa, which is his own particular area of expertise. He also leads PFC Energy’s Iraq Advisory Service, a retainer providing in-depth analysis of Iraq’s ongoing political developments and its emerging business environment.Raad holds a D.Phil. in International Relations from St. Antony’s College, Oxford University, and an M.Phil. and M.A. from the University of St. Andrews.  He is a fluent Arabic speaker and has spent extensive periods living and traveling in the region.
Jamie Webster
Senior Manager, Markets & Country StrategiesJamie Webster is a Senior Manager at PFC Energy where he leads the company’s country risk efforts, specifically the intersection of policy, politics and energy flows.  This analysis encompasses many aspects of energy, to include gas, electricity, product and crude demand dynamics and its implications for the global energy picture and policy in the future.  He also examines energy security from the point of view of both oil states and their customers, as well as future oil production spare capacity and future export potential.  He has spoken on global energy issues for CNBC’s Power Lunch, CNN’s The Situation Room, World News Tonight, Al-Jazeera, KSA2, and has been quoted in The New York Times, Financial Times, Bloomberg and others.Previously Jamie was with Argus Media where he led a business unit focused on the inter-fuel dynamics of US power generation markets and how they would be impacted by economics and policy choices.  Prior to this he was a project developer with Beacon Energy where he developed energy infrastructure projects in North America and Europe.
